Intersex Awareness Day is an internationally observed awareness day designed to highlight human rights issues faced by intersex people. Mark the day by talking about or discovering the documents that promotes human rights actions and current works of the intersex movement. Host workshops, gatherings, and events to educate your community or social group as a part of the international campaign that showcases experiences intersex people and this human rights issue.
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we work and live, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on this land and commit to building a brighter future together.
We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We acknowledge that sovereignty has never been ceded. We seek to walk together in the spirit of reconciliation.
This land always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
