In the context of gender, passing or blending refers to someone, typically a transgender person, who is perceived as the gender they wish to present as. The appropriateness of the term passing, and the desirability of blending into cisgender society, are both debated within the transgender community.
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we work and live, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on this land and commit to building a brighter future together.
We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We acknowledge that sovereignty has never been ceded. We seek to walk together in the spirit of reconciliation.
This land always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
