INTERNATIONAL LESBIAN DAY

International Lesbian Day, an opportunity to highlight the achievements of queer women, and the challenges this section of our community still face.

There’s no clear record of when International Lesbian Day was established, but there is evidence of it occurring as early as 1980 and it originated in Australia and New Zealand. Mark the day celebrate lesbian culture and  all the  positive impact that Lesbian representation holds in history, media and popular culture watch lesbian films and play music made by lesbian women, and celebrate.
